Guidelines :
Eligibility for B.A. / B.Com. Admissions
For admission to F.Y.B.A. and F,Y,B,Com. the student should have passed the H.S.C. (Std. XII) Examination conducted by the Bihar State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Mumbai or an examination recognized as equivalent with subjects as may be specified by the University in Arts & Commerce.(XII Science and XII Commerce may be admitted to F.Y.B.A. subject to availability of Seats)
Eligibility for F.Y.B.M.S. Admissions :
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.M.S. Degree Course shall have passed H.S.C. Examination of the Bihar Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or Diploma in any engineering branches with two years or three years duration after S.S.C., conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination by securing minimum 45% marks for general category (in one attempt) at the respective Examination and minimum 40% marks for the reserved category (in one attempt)
Eligibility for F.Y.B.Sc.(I.T.) Admissions :
Students from the following categories are eligible for admission:
Candidate passed H.S.C. with Mathematics as one of the subjects and securing not less than 45% (Open category) or not less than 40% (Reserved category) in the aggregate at first attempt.
Candidate who have passed Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology / Electrical, Electronics and Video Engineering and allied branches / Mechanical and Allied branches. Civil and allied branches of Engineering after S.S.C. (Xth Standard) are eligible for direct admission to the second year of B.Sc.(I.T.) degree course. However the Diploma should be recognized by the Board of Technical Education of any recognized Government body Minimum marks required 45% aggregate for open category candidate and 40% aggregate for Reserved Candidates.
Eligibility for F.Y.B.Com. (Banking & Insurance) Admissions :
Candidate for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Insurance) Degree Course shall have passed XII std. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secure not less than 45% marks (Open category) or not less than 40% (Reserved category) in the aggregate at first attempt.
Every candidate shall have to register himself / herself with the university.
Students passing an examination other than H.S.C. of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Mumbai, migrating from other States will be admitted subject to availability of sates, only on production of a Provisional Eligibility Certificate’ issued by the University of Mumbai. Such students must submit:
A Migration Certificate.
Statement of Marks and Passing Certificate in original along with true copies.
Note: All admissions are as per the Government / University Rules and Regulation.
RULES FOR ADMISSION :
Right of admission is reserved by the Principal.
Each student shall present himself / herself with an application in the prescribed form duly filled in and signed by him / her and the parent / guardian. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
No student shall be considered as duly admitted unless the admission is granted by the Principal and the necessary fees have been paid and received by the College.
Admission is valid only for one academic year and is required to be renewed every subsequent academic year of the study in the college by applying in the prescribed form.
While seeking admission to the First Year Class, a student shall submit the following documents :
a) Original Mark-sheet of the S.S.C. & H.S.C. or equivalent examination alongwith two attested xerox copies.
b) One attested xerox copy of School Leaving Certificate.
c) Prescribed fees in cash.
d) A recent photograph of the size of 3 x 2.5 cm. shall be affixed on the admission form in the space provided for the purpose.
e) Provisional eligibility Certificate issued by the University of Mumbai in the case of a student passing the H.S.C. examination from other than the Maharashtra State or an examination equivalent thereto of any University other than the University of Mumbai.
f) An affidavit on Stamp Paper of Rs.100/- solemnly affirming about their mother tongue being Gujrati (Only for Minority Students).
Admission is provisional until the Enrolment Certificate / Final Eligibility Certificate / Transference Certificate is submitted to the college.
A Student of this college who has qualified himself for admission to a higher class, will be admitted provided an application for this purpose, in the prescribed form, duly filled in, is received with the necessary fees within a specific period, subject to the seats available.
No employed student shall seek admission in the college for the reason of his / her inability to maintain attendance at lectures and tutorials as required by the University Ordinance No.119 and 125 to grant the terms.
